Across the countryside and farm land, cattle grids protect the animals from escaping through an ungated road opening in the fence or walling. Now you can replicate that on your layout or diorama! A cut out or recess is needed for the pit and the surrounding flange, so it can be realistically let, flush into the surface. Complete with drain hole and small animal escape ramp!
